WADL is constantly looking out for enthusiastic and energetic people to become adjudicators. Most of our adjudicators and presenters are currently university students or young professionals. Adjudicators must be out of high school.
For more information about the roles and responsibilities of an adjudicator, please check out the WADL Adjudicator Handbook.
Expressions of Interest to adjudicate for 2020 are open now:
If you have any questions, please contact our Chief Operating Officer Isobel Smith at email@example.com.
If you'd like to adjudicate for one of WADL's regional competitions in Albany, Geraldton, Kalgoorlie or the South-West, please contact the Chief Convenor Luke Uden for more information via email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
A reminder to all current adjudicators and members that it is important to renew your membership every year before December 31st. If your membership has expired but you want to continue being involved in the organisation, please apply for a new membership using the below form.
Membership in the Western Australian Debating League is the first step to be involved in WADL. Membership is approved on a monthly basis and provides you voting rights at all general meetings, the ability to run for league offices and of course access to our adjudicator and presenter training resources. Interested in adjudicating or presenting? Make sure you fill out the form below.
Most information and resources for Adjudicators can be found on the Internal Adjudicators site. The following documents outline the roles and expectations of WADL Adjudicators, as well as sanctions for breach of the Contractor Code of Conduct.
The 2019 WADL Adjudicator Handbook can be found here.
