Development Weekend

The Development Weekend is an opportunity for all participants in the Schools Debating Competition, regardless of skill or experience level, to improve and refine their public speaking and debating skills. The 2017 Development Weekend will be held over the weekend of March 25 and March 26, in late Term 1.

The 2017 Development Weekend will be different in nature to previous years. Instead of having flexible seminar options for students to attend, students will be required to commit to the entire 4.5 hour session at their chosen venue. The sessions held at St Stephen's Duncraig, Guildford Grammar School and Shenton College will be identical in nature.

Registrations for Development Weekend 2017 are now closed.

Students are required to bring their own lunch and morning/afternoon tea for the event (they will have two breaks of approximately 15-30 minutes during the day). Please wear casual clothes on the day (School uniform is not required).

If you require any further information, please contact Anish at anish.badgeri@wadl.org.
